An Eau Claire School District bus driver is suspended after failing to drop off a three-year old boy at summer school Tuesday morning and left him unattended for 15 minutes.
School officials called Karen Woodman Tuesday morning to say her son Ethan wasn't there. Kkaren told them he had gotten on the bus.
Officials then called the bus company, Student Transit, where Ethan was found sitting on one of their buses while parked in the garage.
Transit officials say the driver did not follow company policy and check the bus before parking it.
Karen says she is thankful the school acted so quickly and Ethan wasn't hurt, but says this situation should have never happened.
The driver is on an automatic three-day suspension without pay, and Student Transit officials say they are still investigating the incident
