A Washburn County man is sentenced for paying a teenage boy to participate in sex acts.
The victim's mother says she is not happy with the 10 years prison time the judge gave Donald Soloman.
Prosecutors say the 64-year-old Sarona man met a 14-year-old boy who was doing clean up work for a bar there. Officers say Soloman later confessed to repeatedly sexually assaulting the boy. The boy's mother says the sentence doesn't protect the public.
A family friend of the victim tells us this case serves as a warning to all parents that it can happen anywere and moms and dads need to listen to their gut feelings about people.
