Police are investigating a robbery at a restaurant in Eau Claire.

It happened last night at Cicione's Italian Eatery. That's on the corner of Clairemont Avenue and Menomonie Street on the west side of town. .

Lt. Tim Golden of the Eau Claire Police Department says a suspect took an employee's purse, then got keys to their car and stole it. Police found the car in Dunn County. Detectives are processing the vehicle for evidence.

Golden says, "If we're able to identify a print left on any portion and if the owner says that person should have never been in my vehicle, we certainly have a suspect."

Golden says it doesn't look like any money was stolen from the restaurant itself.
