Tire Flys Off Car; Hits SUV

Five people were hurt when a tire came off a car on Interstate 94 in Racine County and bounced into the windshield of a sports utility vehicle.

It happened Sunday night near Highway "G."

A tire from a Mercedes bounced across the interstate into the southbound lanes where it shattered the windshield of a G-M-C Yukon, which was driven by a woman and carried three children.

One of the kids suffered a serious head injury.
