More mailboxes and newspaper boxes have been vandalized in Dunn County

Sheriff Dennis Smith says starting Wednesday morning, at least 11 newspaper boxes have been set on fire in the northern part of the county, including the Town of Wilson and the Sand Creek and Colfax townships.

Smith says the suspects lit the newspapers that were in the bins on fire, then placed them back in the containers. That melted the plastic boxes and damaged nearby mailboxes.

He says they don't know yet who set the fires.
