Saturdays are not typical to see your government in action, but if you are in La Crosse or Tomah on Saturday, the I.R.S. will be there to help you with your upcoming stimulus check.

The agency is holding Saturday hours this week to help those eligible for the upcoming checks but who normally are not required to file an income tax return. In La Crosse, the I.R.S. office at 425 State Street will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
