A Sheboygan Falls man who disappeared in January has been found dead.

The body of 46-year-old John Schnicke was pulled from the Sheboygan River yesterday, miles downstream from where he's believed to have fallen from a railroad trestle into the water.

Kohler police Lieutenant David Darin says an autopsy is planned, but so far there aren't any indications of foul play.

Schnicke was last seen leaving a Sheboygan Falls tavern the evening of January 11th.

Police reported finding footprints leading halfway across the trestle, which is marked with a "no trespassing" sign.
