Officers shot a bank robbery suspect in a northwest Minneapolis suburb after he led them on a high-speed chase.
Officers say the chase started at about 6:45 a.m. Friday morning. They say the suspect robbed a TCF bank in St. Anthony. Police chased the man through the suburbs. He hit speeds of nearly 100-miles an hour.
Traffic cameras show him throwing bags of money out of the car as he sped down the highway. A squad car bumped the suspect's car near I-494 and State-highway-55 in Plymouth. That's where it spun out and stopped.
There's no word on the man's condition, but his wounds are not thought to be life-threatening.
3 officers are now on paid administrative leave.
