Federal wildlife officials are asking for help to clean up flood damage in the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge.

A conservation group took out most of the big junk last fall, but a lot of smaller debris remains.

Refuge officials need volunteers for a cleanup walkthrough on Saturday, April 26. It will be in the area around Minnesota City, which was hardest hit by the flood.

Minnesota City, Minnesota is just north of Winona. Wisconsin residents can use the Mississippi River bridge at Winona to reach Minnesota City.
