B-17 Visits Eau Claire
During World War II, the B-17 bomber was the most modern aircraft in the U.S. inventory...And one of them has touched down in Eau Claire.
The B-17 "Flying Fortress" is at the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport...The World War II era bomber will be open for tours starting Tuesday.

The 'Flying Fortress' is going to be at the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport in Eau Cliare until Wednesday.
The public will be able to take ground tours and will even be able to a flight on the plane.
Ground tours are available between 2-5pm and cost $10 for a family, $6 for adults, and $5 for students.
If you would like to take a trip back in history, you can get a ride for $395. The fee is $355 for EAA members. Flights take place every 45 minutes between 9:30am and 1:15pm.
