The Federal Emergency Management Agency has asked premium waters to help supply water, and the company has stepped up production 25 percent since Wednesday.
Over the next 10 days, the Chippewa Falls plant is sending out 100 truckloads of water to aid relief efforts.
"We changed this back to a seven days, 24-hour operation. Our employees have volunteered to come in and even work over the Labor Day weekend because they know this is such an important effort," says plant manager Pete Birschbach.
Trac trucking in Menomonie is shuttling the water supply to the Barksdale Air Force base in Shreveport, Louisiana for distribution.
