A former Eau Claire Children's Theatre volunteer who pleaded guilty to repeated sexual assault of a child was sentenced Monday.

38-year-old Ronald Rude will spend one year in jail and 10 years on probation. He is also not allowed to have any contact with children.

In December, Rude agreed to a deal with prosecutors. He was accused of sexually assaulting four girls dating back to 1995. Three of the charges were dismissed.
