Nat'l Weather Service Changes The Way It Issues Warnings
Instead of issuing a warning for an entire county, the sirens will only sound for locations in the direct path of severe weather based on the National Weather Service data available at the time.

It will be nice to not get woken up at 2am when the storm is no where near EC, nor is it moving toward us! I think it makes people ignore the sirens when they are activated and there is no storm in the area/affecting us, which could prove dangerous, so this will be a welcome change.
