Wisconsin drivers licenses and identification cards will have a different look starting Monday
The state Division of Motor Vehicles will begin issuing newly designed driver licenses and I-D cards, with the driver's licenses tinted pink and the I-D cards tinted green.
People under 21 will receive driver's licenses and I-D cards in a vertical format. Ultraviolet security also will protect the cards from being altered.
Photos from the two types of cards will be digitally stored to be compared to the card holder to further help identity theft.
State Department of Transportation Secretary Frank Busalacchi says the design changes make the identification and license more secure.
All 103 D-M-V customer service centers in Wisconsin will issue the new style cards by November second.
