Saturday afternoon westeren Wisconsin was hit with a storm with winds around 80 miles per hour, hail, and heavy rain.

Officials say no injuries have been reported in Eau Claire, Dunn, Barron, and Chippewa Counties.

As of 5:30pm on Saturday, Excel officials say 12,000 customers were still without power in Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, and surrounding areas. At one time more than 30,000 Excel residential and business customers were without power.

3,000 customers are without power in Menomonie, Durand, and surrounding areas.

Excel says they have 36 crews working on the problem Saturday night, they have not said when power will be fully restored, although some could be without power until Monday afternoon.

The Eau Claire County brush disposal site is open Monday and Tuesday from 10:00am until 4:00pm.
