UW-Green Bay could hit all-time high in enrollments this year.
As the school's application deadline approaches, officials at UW-Green Bay are preparing for what might be its largest freshman class ever.
The incoming class is expected to be about 1,075 students, which would be an all-time high for the school.
It would also be more than a seven percent increase over the size of its 2007 freshman class.
The university currently serves about 6,100 students.
Its goal is to eventually grow enrollment to 7,500 students.
Chancellor Bruce Shepard says the university is in demand.
He says that's partly because its graduates tend to stay local, which area employers appreciate.
The application deadline is April 15, which is two weeks earlier than last year's deadline.
