MARSHFIELD, Wis. (AP) -- A University of Wisconsin-Madison student has been laid to rest in Marshfield, while the hunt for whoever killed her continues in Madison.
Twenty-one-year-old Brittany Zimmermann lived in an apartment only five blocks from the state Capitol, and that's where she was found dead last week.
St. Andrew's Church in Stratford was filled for her funeral yesterday.
The UW junior was following her dream to become a doctor when she was killed.
Police have released few details about the homicide.
They have detained or arrested several people on charges not related to the death and so far haven't identified a suspect.
