Wisconsin Metro Area Unemployment Rates Up

Here are unemployment rates in Wisconsin metropolitan areas in June, compared with the previous month. The following rates are not adjusted to account for seasonal fluctuations.

Appleton: 4.6 percent in June, up from 4.3 percent in May.

Eau Claire: 4.7 percent, up from 4.3 percent.

Fond du Lac: 4.8 percent, up from 4.3 percent.

Green Bay: 4.7 percent, up from 4.4 percent.

Janesville: 5.2 percent, up from 4.9 percent.

La Crosse: 4.1 percent, up from 3.7 percent.

Madison: 3.5 percent, up from 3.2 percent.

Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis: 5.3 percent, up from 5 percent.

Oshkosh-Neenah: 4.6 percent, up from 4.4 percent.

Racine: 6.2 percent, up from 5.9 percent.

Sheboygan: 4.2 percent, up from 3.9 percent

Wausau: 4.3 percent, unchanged.
