Family members of the boy killed by a drunk driver filled the courtroom Friday as the Arcadia man pleaded no contest to the charge of hit-and-run resulting in death.

The judge accepted a plea agreement to drop three other charges against 50-year-old Robert Kreibich. Kreibich had waived his right to a preliminary hearing in Trempealeau County Court.

Five-year-old Matt McKay was sledding down a hill in front of his home on January 27th. That's when deputies say the 50-year-old Kreibich hit him.

Sentencing for Kreibich is scheduled for June 26th. The charge carries a maximum prison term of 25 years.
