Buy a Schoolhouse, Help Junior Achievement

By  |

Junior achievement is looking for volunteers to help bring their real life experiences into area classrooms.
At the same time, the group wants to raise some funds for those programs.
For a dollar, the region's group is selling paper school houses at Mega supermarkets and convenience stores.
Junior achievement is also recruiting classroom consultants to help bring business, economic and free enterprise education to kids.
Denise Parker of the Northwest District says volunteers help at schools in Eau Claire, Altoona, Chippewa Falls, Elk Mound, Fall Creek, and Menomonie.
This district's group serves more than 21-thousand students throughout Northwestern Wisconsin.
