Fireworks Charges

The six teens accused of throwing fireworks at the home of a North High School teacher made their initial court appearance.

Eighteen year-olds Benjamin Slaughter and Michael Norquest and seventeen year-olds Dennis Andregg, Joseph Capozzi, Trevor Caliebe, and Joel Pardun were in Eau Claire County Court Tuesday.

All are facing two felony charges of criminal damage to property and possession of explosives for unlawful purposes. The boys are accused of throwing fireworks into the home of a North High School teacher earlier this summer. No one was injured.

All six were released on $1000 signature bond and are expected back in court for a pre-trial hearing in two weeks.
