Firefighters Train Others to Save Lives
Firefighters from Eau Claire help train volunteers in other departments in life saving technology.

Rescuers in Eau Claire county trained Tueday evening to make sure if you call 911, the first person to get to you, can help.
The Eau Claire Fire Department is now covering 911 calls all over the county.
Battalion Chief Rick Merryfield says that means the role of first responders is more important than ever.
On Tuesday night, the department worked to make sure those first responders get even more training.
Rescuers from Altoona and Emergicare first responders got together in Altoona to learn how to use advanced equipment that can help people with things like heart failure, diabetes, asthma and emphysema.
