Lawton says the package of executive orders and proposed legislation is meant to create energy independence, clean up of Wisconsin water ways and land, and also protect them from further damage.
A few of the proposals include more inspections at boat launches to prevent the spread of invasive species.
The restoration of the Wisconsin Public Intervenor, watchdog group that worked to protect Wisconsin's Natural Resources.
