Benefit Fund Set Up For Fire Victim's

Brandy and Zack Peterson's mobile home was destroyed over the weekend in Chippewa County. It happened at the Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park in the Town of Wheaton.

Crews found a fire moving quickly from a bedroom into other parts of the home.

Investigators say a 4-year-old boy started the fire in the bedroom with a cigarette lighter.

That boy then informed his parents who, evacuated the home and called 9-1-1. No one was injured in the fire.

Because the family had no insurance a benefit account has been set up for them at the Royal Credit Union in Eau Claire. If anyone would like to make a donation they can stop in or call any RCU office.
