Dairyland Power Cooperative is providing its users with 300,000 compact fluorescent light bulbs

According to the cooperative, the CFLs use about 75%less energy than standard incandescent bulbs and last up to 10 times longer

Dairyland hopes the bulbs will encourage people to make energy efficiency a priority and change out more of their bulbs
