The Chippewa Valley Technical College is more than $3 million in the red.

That budget deficit means there will have to be cuts, and Thursday night, dozens of students and alumni stood up in hopes of protecting their programs.

CVTC's president told NewsCenter 13 the board will have to consider cutting staff and programs like Barber-Cosmetology, Practical Nursing, and Therapeutic Massage.
CVTC President, Bruce Barker, says no decisions will likely be made until sometime in June.
