Kids Hopping to Help MDA

The words muscular dystrophy may be difficult for young kids to say, but when it comes to understanding the disease, a group of kids in Fall Creek has it down pretty good.
Kids at St. Paul's Little Lambs Daycare held a Hop-a-Thon Wednesday, as they do each year..
With books and videos, they know the money they raise will help kids who are a little different from them, but just as special.
11-year-old Justin Longhurst says their hop-a-thon money will be used by the Muscular Dystrophy Association to buy other children leg braces, wheelchairs, and time at camp.
The kids will present their check at the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon on Labor Day, September 5th
Newscenter 13's Bob Gallaher and Salina Heller will be broadcasting live on TV-13 from 12:30 until 5:00 p.m. Shaun Verbout will be at Festival Foods in Eau Claire.
Last year the kids raised almost $700.¶
