Greenhalgh's Funeral

With heavy hearts this week, the community of Chippewa Falls is laying to rest some of their beloved neighbors.
Later this morning students, teachers and families will gather to pay their respects to long-time band director Doug Greenhalgh, his wife Therese and their 11-year-old granddaughter Morgan.
They were among the five killed when the charter bus they were riding in collided with an overturned semi early Sunday morning near Osseo.
Chippewa Falls High School is closed for the day.
Band students from other neighboring schools will act as a color guard at the Greenhalghs' funeral service.
The funeral is at ten-thirty at Trinity Methodist Church in Chippewa Falls. The church parking lot is reserved for family only.
Everyone else is asked take W. River St. to Superior St. where they'll be directed to designated parking areas.
The 100 to 400 blocks of Spring St. and the 200 block of Central St. will be closed to local traffic during the funeral.
