A lightning strike severely damaged a home in Marquette County this week.
It happened around 3:30 Friday morning in the City of Westfield.
Homeowner, Robert Rivera, says lightning hit his TV antenna and quickly surged through the entire home.
He says the strike exploded into the ground, shooting rocks and debris into the side of his home and down the hill.
Robert says the force knocked tiles off the wall in the bathroom, and blew out wiring all over the house.
Homeowner Robert Rivera says, "After a couple of times of thunder and lightning I decided to go back to sleep. I laid back down and right at that moment, just BAM. The whole room turned bright white, my wife went flying off the bed, stuff flew all over the place and that was it."
