Rice Lake Police say a convicted sex offender is back in the community after being released from prison.

Stewart Eagleman, Jr., 28, was released on Tuesday. He lives at 5 1/2 West Eau Claire Street in Rice Lake.

Eagleman pleaded guilty to second-degree sexual assault of a child in 2001.

A year earlier, he was convicted of sexually assaulting a woman he had been involved with.

Eagleman will be monitored electronically. He can't have contact with minors or be in places where children go. He also can't use alcohol or drugs or have access to computers or the internet.

Good point leroy whats even sicker is what kind of mother brings that into their home and puts their children in harms way that disgusts me how someones personal life can ever be more important then their childrens well being. Too bad we cant punish ignoramuses like that!

Being a long time resident of Rice Lake it bothers me knowing that yet another one was has been placed in are community that makes 40 plus offenders in the community Im a father and a husband and with that many sick people in are town it scares me its just a matter of time before one of them hurts another child or women people like that should not be placed in communitys the key should have been thrown away the world we live in today is very scary i wonder what it will be like when were gone and are kids are having kids we just have to be very careful and protct are are familys from all of the wrong out there
