In Burnett County, a two year old child was killed after her father accidentally ran over her with a pick-up truck.
The chief deputy tells us it happened Thursday just after 7:30pm northeast of Webster.
Deputies say the father was backing up to unload a picnic table and was focused on the driver's side mirror, when the child slid out of a seatbelt, opened the door and fell to the ground.
Investigators say the truck's front tire rolled over the child
Deputies say the little girl was taken to the Burnett County Airport to wait for a medical helicopter, but she passed away before it arrived. Investigators say alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
