A 39-year-old Ringle man accused of driving drunk and killing a woman who was riding with him is headed to trial.

Ted Erickson is charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle.
The criminal complaint says in 2006, the body of 34-year-old Juliann Landowski was found by police in on Wisconsin Highway 29 in Ringle.

Police say, although Erickson originally told them Landowski was driving, he was later charged as the driver in the case.

Erickson is being held on a $25,000 cash bond.
