Oakwood Mall taking Red Cross Donations

Add Oakwood Mall to the list of groups helping aid the American Red Cross to raise money for the relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina.
Throughout the mall there are places where people can pick up envelopes to donate money that goes directly to the Red Cross.
People can mail in the envelopes or drop them off at guest services.
"We did this before for the tsunami and got such a great response we decided to do it again," Oakwood Mall Marketing Manager Amy Prew said.
Each mall owned by general growth properites will help with donations.
Also, retail stores in the mall are saving boxes to use to send school supplies down for the children in the Gulf Coast.
