Well - for those who aren't aware, he was only arrested - not convicted, yet. Innocent until proven, guilty. That is the reason that he is on paid leave. When he is found guilty, then he will get the unpaid leave (ie: suspension). He will also get the "drunk driver school", heavy fines, loss of driving priveledges. Since this is most likely his first offense, there will be no jail time, just like the rest of the public. He will also have the public scrunity and public display of his arrest, court appearance etc, that the general public doesn't have.
what! no drunk driver school, heavy fines, loss of driving privilags, jail time like any one else who gets caught, and we pay him too! sounds like wisconsin is not only the state with the most drunk drivers, but its also the state of the good ole boys club! arnt we all proud! And we worry soooo much about those cigeretts, never mind all those accident victims who are either dead or crippled for life. Maybe he should have given himself a ticket! Because he would sure give you one! Pathetic.
he shall get more than a slap on the wrist because of this dont mattter who u are and what u do u were caught drinkin and drivin so deal with wat u got urself into
I agree. He shouldn't lose his job, but he should be punished. Also, he shouldn't get paid leave. Any other person who gets pulled over for drinking and driving don't take off work and just suddenly get paid leave!
Blue shield goes down. Glad they arrested him like the genral public. but he should not lose his job but severaly demoted in rank if this is his first offense.
I don't know why it should be a paid leave.
