A Tomah man who pleaded no contest and was found guilty in a double murder case in Juneau County now wants to withdraw his plea.

Special prosecutor Mike Luell says John Tetting Jr. entered the plea last month and was found guilty of two counts of second degree reckless homicide. He also pleaded guilty to possession of stolen property and possession of cocaine with intent to deliver.

Luell says he will oppose Tetting's request and a judge will make a ruling.

Tetting was charged with being an accomplice in the March 2007 shooting deaths of 31 year old Joshua Alderman, 31 of La Crosse and his girlfriend Tabatha Nealy, 23, of Wisconsin Rapids.
