Crash Victims Memorial Service Save Email Print

A memorial service will be held Thursday night for two of the crew members killed in the helicopter crash last weekend in La Crosse County

The service will remember emergency room physician Dr. Darren Bean and pilot Steve Lipperer, who were killed after they airlifted a patient to a La Crosse hospital and crashed on their way back to Madison Saturday night. A separate memorial service will be held for the third crash victim, nurse Mark Coyne.

Bean and Lipperer's service is at the Monona Terrace at 7pm. Coyne's service is scheduled at Crossroads Church on South Dutch Mill Road in Madison for Monday at 5 p.m. both services are open to the public.
