Good for you Brian!! I'm also not in the best shape, 54-yrs-old, but bought a bicycle and am working my way up to doing the 8 mile commute to work. Congratulations on actually doing something and not just bellyaching. Good luck. Wear reflective gear and be careful ok?
If I was Brian, I'd donate the money saved to a charity that would help people here in the US instead of Africa. His heart is in the right place though.
