Police Chief's Daughter Charged With Meth-Related Crime

The 22-year-old daughter of Prairie du Chien's police chief is charged with possessing materials to make methamphetamine.

A police report says Erin King told authorities she had the chemicals -- including 12 boxes of pseudoephedrine -- in her car and was planning to make meth when she was arrested in Prairie du Chien.

Police didn't find that the daughter of Police chief Mike King had any anhydrous ammonia -- another key ingredient in the chemical cocktail.

Prosecutors believe the case may include additional federal charges because of another meth investigation that implicates King.
