A Waupaca mother and her boyfriend have been ordered to have no contact with the woman's two daughters after being accused of duct taping them together for misbehaving.

Prosecutors say the girls' mouths were also taped so they couldn't speak and they were ordered to hold weights over their heads.

A criminal complaint says Tonya Schiesser told investigators it was her idea to put vinegar in the mouths of the girls, who are now 6 and 9 years old.

Schiesser and Joseph Durrant each face four counts of child abuse. An investigation began after the girls' father brought them to the hospital with bruises on their bodies.

Schiesser and Durrant appeared in Waupaca County Circuit Court Wednesday and were released on $5,000 signature bonds.
