The Wisconsin Conservation Congress is offering regulations that could be used if the state were to authorize a wolf hunt.
The advisory group to the State Natural Resources Board suggests the hunt be restricted to state residents with a $10 license application fee and a $100 license fee.
A license would be granted only once in a hunter's lifetime.
Federal wildlife leaders removed wolves from the endangered list in Wisconsin last year.
That means the D.N.R. can authorize a hunt if their population grows beyond the management goal of 350.
