The Eau Claire School Board met for the sixth time Wednesday night in closed session and still hasn't come to any kind of conclusion.
The Board is still discussing former Superintendent Bill Klaus' contract.
Wednesday’s meeting lasted about two and a half hours.
The Eau Claire School Board has already met several times over the last couple of months regarding this issue.
School Board President, Carol Craig says, "We've made significant progress, but we don't have any specific reports for you this evening."
Members say Klaus, along with former School Board President Carol Olson, created a document that may have allowed Klaus to get his retirement stipends earlier that the board planned.
Members tell us Olson signed the document after she had left the school board.
On April 30th the Eau Claire School District placed Klaus on paid administrative leave from his position as Northstar Principal.
Interim Superintendent James Leary says that decision did not reflect on Klaus' performance as a principal.
School Board President Carol Craig says there's nothing else to say except that the board is making progress.
Carol Craig says, "We're not going to make any other comment for you this evening except that we will be meeting again."
Board members say they're not sure what day that'll be yet.
And they say they don't know how many more meetings they'll need to make some sort of decision.
