Man Killed in SUV Crash
Officers say he crossed the center line on Hwy 29 near Spring Lake and hit a concrete culvert.

A Spring Valley man is dead after he crashed his SUV near Pierce and St. Croix county line.
Officers say it happened Wednesday just after 3:30 in the afternoon just northeast of Spring Valley. They say 76-year old Peter De Gross was driving west on Highway 29.
Officers say he crossed the center line, went off the road into a ditch, and hit a concrete culvert. De Gross died at the scene. His wife was also in the car.
She was taken the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
