The small, Trempealeau County Town of Eleva, was packed with people Sunday, all hoping to get a good spot for the annual Broiler Fest Grand Parade.
Everything from fire trucks, to local royalty rolled down the Main Street in Eleva Sunday afternoon.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Eleva Broiler Festival.
To mark the special occasion, organizers invited former Eleva queens to participate in the grand parade.
Festival President, Brett Semingson, says the money raised at the weekend-long event benefits the people who live in the area.
Brett Semingson says, "Every dollar that we earn goes back into the community. Whether it be in the Village of Eleva, the Township of Albion or the Eleva-Strum School District."
Semingson says broiler fest started as a celebration of the Norwegian Fourth of July.
