A registered sex offender who has been living in Eau Claire since 2005 will move to a new location.

A registered sex offender who has been living in Eau Claire since 2005 will move to a new location.
On Friday, Michael Thorson, 44, will begin living at 2520 Seymour Road in Eau Claire. Thorson has a criminal history dating back to the early 1980s that includes convictions of second degree sexual assault, false imprisonment and attempted second degree sexual assault with the use of force or violence.
Thorson's victims included adult females and minor females.
Thorson will remain on electronic monitoring and GPS. He's not allowed to have contact with minors or go into bars or liquor stores.
