The driver of a truck went off the road and slammed into a shed near Augusta Thursday night.

According to the Eau Claire county sheriff's department, the driver missed a corner, went through a fence, and crashed into this shed south of Augusta.

Deputies say he pushed the machinery inside out the back wall.

Investigators tell us the man who heard the crash had to ride his horse to a neighbor's house to call for help.

It happened just before ten.

When deputies arrived, they say they had to wake up the driver.

They say alcohol may be a factor.

The driver was taken to Luther Hospital to be treated for some cuts and scrapes.
