What part of NO NEW JAIL do they not understand???
Yup. 19 more overpaid cage jockeys. Just what this town needs. Hell, why don't we all just get a room at the local pokey. A cell for every citizen. That way, they could keep an eye on us all the time to make sure we're not breaking any almighty laws in the first place! What a glorious town we could have if we would all bow down and worship these infallible entities of "authority" that we seem to love so much... (sarcasm, for the slow ones...)
I agree with John. THey make it sound sooo great with offering new positions. Yet, we pay dearly for in our taxes! We sure are paying Uncle Sam for it, aren't we....?????? SO, its not as good as it seems now is it...........??
I think we're all sick of being "comforted" with the phrase "new jobs" every time there's a flagrant misuse of taxpayer funds as our tax burdens rise year after year after year. Nineteen new jobs for $59 million? YIKES!
