Local area kids are getting a lesson in the do's and don'ts.
Safe Kids Chippewa Valley and Northwoods Elementary is hosting "Safety Town."
"Safety Town" teaches five and six year olds about everyday safety hazards.
Children will learn the dangers of fire and poisons... Playground and animal safety... Traffic safety... And stranger danger.
Kids can even practice bike and pedestrian safety in a miniature town.
The event runs Monday through Thursday both this week and next at Northwoods Elementary school.
