Culver's "Day of Warmth"

Video will be available shortly.

The chilly weather may not inspire you to enjoy an icy dessert, but eating out at Culvers will help keep area residents heat running through the winter.

Tuesday is the third annual "day of warmth". During store hours, Culver's restaurants will donate ten percent of the store's earnings to the 'Keep Wisconsin Warm Fund'.

"All the money that we raise here in Eau Claire County stays in Eau Claire County," says Jeremiah Bowe, the owner of the Brackett Avenue restaurant. "Of the 112 Wisconsin restaurants, we anticipate with a state matching fund to garner over $100,000."

Bowe estimates that 85 percent of the funds raised will go to assist elderly individuals, disabled individuals and families with small children.
