Officials Concerned About Weekend Event
The recent rain has police and firefighters concerned about people floating down the river at Fatfar this weekend.

Police chief Wayne Nehring says the rain has brought rising water, fast currents, and debris. He says anyone floating on the river should wear a life-vest and use common sense when drinking.
Fatfar stands for Frenchtown Annual Tube Float And Regatta. It's billed as the biggest one day tubing event in the world. It's Sunday June 15 on the Chippewa River. Organizer Loopy Kleich says safety is the number one concern and wants people to be careful
