The Wisconsin Attorney General wants General Motors to include Wisconsin in its recent recall of SUVs.
In August, GM announced it was recalling about 800,000 SUVs and pickup trucks.
Faults in the anti-lock brake systems have resulted in about 200 low-speed crashes.
The recall was issued in 14 northern states, not including Wisconsin.
Now, Peg Lautenschlager is urging the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to force GM to expand its recall.
Lautenschlager says recalls like this should be nationwide so that everyone eligible has access to repairs.
